The Rise & Rise & Rise of Covid-19...Seems to have Coincided with an Exponential Rise in Lazy Thinking..- Especially by Western Media, No Less....

On the one hand, those already staunchly anti-big government supposing it to be yet another, albeit exponentially more threatening episode in the relentless behind-the-scenes push towards a one world government and/or 'Agenda 23' and the like...

Others, generally naively embracing anything governmental provided considerable largesse is scattered here there and everywhere - helter-skelter with seeming abandon (and rather aimless in that process) - see it as not only perfectly legitimate, even desirable for the government at such moments to be giving us much duty of care (normally reserved for those with the maternal instinct dutifully looking out for their kith & kin), but that those who may in any way seek to question their motives and intentions to be whacko conspiracy theorists and other assorted misfits and malcontents...

Whilst others simply see it as yet another relentless imposition upon the long-held and deeply-cherished freedoms and liberties of once thriving libertarian societies...

And doubtless others (in governments and bureaucracies worldwide) secretly embrace the long-awaited opportunity to use it to the full/max as an all too convenient trojan horse to peddle their own long-fancied and cherished pet trojan-horses, quite unbeknownst to and perfectly unsuspected by the gullible plebs and proletariat at large...

...though in the 'latter' instance, i.e. vis-a-vis Sissii International's determined and seemingly successful efforts to eradicate the wonderful cultural artifacts of the ancient city of Palmyra - much as its African cousins did in that classical(ly named) centre of pre-civilization, i.e. Timbuktu  - the historian tasked with keeping its museum etc was valiantly prepared to 'be faithful unto death' (as the Book of Revelation  might have put it) in defending it to the death (as it sadly ultimately proved)...

"I Will NOT Pose for your camera/s, My/our faith is not for show": So - apparently - once said a poor Appalachian (or thereabouts) pastor at the conclusion of a funeral service out in the wilds of Pennsylvania to America's popular, one-time TV Show Host Phil Donahue...in remarks now forever after 'immortalized' in and by the well-respected radio evangelist Charles ('Chuck') Swindoll...and they are of no less relevance and vital import and bearing today, whether in the U S of A or here in lil ole God's Own/Godzone...

Though 'it ain't necessarily so', as in so many things reported by today's self-anointed purveyors of truth and reality - who despite seemingly never-ending claims to 'the facts' whilst all other comers (and goers) are supposedly peddling fake news , and generous helpings thereof, themselves so often leave much to be desired insofar as really, truly giving viewers, readers and listeners 'the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth' is concerned, the 'real doss' so to speak - it is a tad concerning (and, what's more, 'worrying') when(ever) any  people in the public eye, let alone 'leaders' in the community (and other assorted 'movers and shakers' in society) use  their (supposed) 'faith' and/or religious pedigree as a kind of prop for public consumption...   And thus and so we had the spectacle of President Trump awhile ago, following the spontaneous eruption of protests and riots throughout the States...
