First In Line to Receive Such A Well-Warranted Accolade is Surely 'Q & A' Host Jack Tame for His Superlative 'Take No Prisoners' Interview With the Nation's First Lady Last Sunday...

For making a major departure from Aotearoa-New Zealand's erstwhile sycophantic 'sucking up' to Prime Minister Ardern, one cannot have anything but praise and plaudits for the youthful and feisty Tame, someone who's fast proving he's an unqualified asset to the kiwi media landscape...

Not resiling an inch throughout said interview for a persistent, even rather relentless line of questioning, in which he gave not an ounce of leeway to evasive and arguably devious responses from the PM, Jack Tame put the questions ye average kiwi has wanted and continues to want, and need, and even rightfully demand  of the nation's leader...

Well done, Jack, though life's been upon me, as with so many of our fellow NZers, the reason this blogpost is so belated...

Interestingly, you - for a change (from most journos, anyhow) - arguably gave a *gentler interview of **Opposition leader Judith Collins, yet she seemed to fail to profit therefrom... 

*Simply as a courtesy, I believe, to someone constantly 'harassed' (if justly) as a somewhat ineffective leader...

**No longer? - As At NZ leader David Seymour rapidly succeeds to said role...

A well-deserved ZERO to 'the Hosk' for signally failing to register Tame (vis-a-vis said interview) upon his Friday morning 'Week in Review' - and allocating him a well-deserved 10; as he likewise didn't with Greta Thurnberg, whose 'greenwashing' reference to Cop26 could scarcely have been more apt...and hence likewise warranted a 10...

"I Will NOT Pose for your camera/s, My/our faith is not for show": So - apparently - once said a poor Appalachian (or thereabouts) pastor at the conclusion of a funeral service out in the wilds of Pennsylvania to America's popular, one-time TV Show Host Phil Donahue...in remarks now forever after 'immortalized' in and by the well-respected radio evangelist Charles ('Chuck') Swindoll...and they are of no less relevance and vital import and bearing today, whether in the U S of A or here in lil ole God's Own/Godzone...

Though 'it ain't necessarily so', as in so many things reported by today's self-anointed purveyors of truth and reality - who despite seemingly never-ending claims to 'the facts' whilst all other comers (and goers) are supposedly peddling fake news , and generous helpings thereof, themselves so often leave much to be desired insofar as really, truly giving viewers, readers and listeners 'the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth' is concerned, the 'real doss' so to speak - it is a tad concerning (and, what's more, 'worrying') when(ever) any  people in the public eye, let alone 'leaders' in the community (and other assorted 'movers and shakers' in society) use  their (supposed) 'faith' and/or religious pedigree as a kind of prop for public consumption...   And thus and so we had the spectacle of President Trump awhile ago, following the spontaneous eruption of protests and riots throughout the States...
