Less Political Placating, People...& More Taking Truth to Power: Like, What are Y'All Afraid of Folks, The Big, Bad Wolf - or Rather Dragon - of Imperialistic Chinese (CCP) Power?

Vis-a-vis our Aotearoa-New Zealand Government's craven kowtowing - post-Winston Peters, especially - to the Chinese Central Communist Party's every wish and sensibility...

...wholly unlike our courageous Trans-Tasman neighbours the Aussies, who, however 'rough as guts' and blunt and forthright they may well tend to be (in comparison with our finer, more peaceable and accommodating kiwi tendencies and inclinations), not only are more than willing to call a spade a spade, but much more importantly are more than prepared to put their well-earned money precisely where their mouths are... 

...heedless of the (financial) consequences and implications, based on the very simple premise that right is right and wrong is wrong, each and every time...

...and regardless of their own rather dubious track record at times, some stuff such as concentration camps and all the rest being past doubtful disputations and the like...

And as for our Government's - again, in the post-NZ First era - apparently absolute silence over the progressively unravelling spectacle that is the latter-day crushing of Hong Kong democracy and those champions of democracy still outspoken and active there, well, what can I add, but

complete and utter shame on you, folks, by so NOT doing you're even starting to give NZ democracy a bad name...

"I Will NOT Pose for your camera/s, My/our faith is not for show": So - apparently - once said a poor Appalachian (or thereabouts) pastor at the conclusion of a funeral service out in the wilds of Pennsylvania to America's popular, one-time TV Show Host Phil Donahue...in remarks now forever after 'immortalized' in and by the well-respected radio evangelist Charles ('Chuck') Swindoll...and they are of no less relevance and vital import and bearing today, whether in the U S of A or here in lil ole God's Own/Godzone...

Though 'it ain't necessarily so', as in so many things reported by today's self-anointed purveyors of truth and reality - who despite seemingly never-ending claims to 'the facts' whilst all other comers (and goers) are supposedly peddling fake news , and generous helpings thereof, themselves so often leave much to be desired insofar as really, truly giving viewers, readers and listeners 'the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth' is concerned, the 'real doss' so to speak - it is a tad concerning (and, what's more, 'worrying') when(ever) any  people in the public eye, let alone 'leaders' in the community (and other assorted 'movers and shakers' in society) use  their (supposed) 'faith' and/or religious pedigree as a kind of prop for public consumption...   And thus and so we had the spectacle of President Trump awhile ago, following the spontaneous eruption of protests and riots throughout the States...
