The 'better man' concedes the battle, as an indefatigable battler bows out: though bedecked with high praise from no less than Pete Buttigieg - another wannabe (or rather, would-have-been) Democratic Presidential Nominee - as a [sterling] Exemplar of political integrity, the battered, bruised but unbowed in spirit Bernie (Sanders) graciously concedes the party's nomination to arch-rival (Joe) Biden...and by thus putting his nation's best interests before his own narrow political and ideological agenda and ambitions proves that true blue, real deal leadership - of the sort sadly seldom seen these days - is indeed, as the ole song says about love, so very 'hard to find, the lasting kind'
