Saturday I Witnessed Something Striking (If Admittedly Far From Surprising), Albeit Deeply Saddening - and All So Typical of Our Self-Centred, Self-Obsessed Age: Two Contrasting Protests, Geographically Directly Opposite One Another: The First, as in Prior (Protest), That of a Long-Established/Running (Mostly 'Tented') Crowd of (Deeply if Not Necessarily Self-Evidently) Self-Indulgent Covid Antagonists, Denouncing & Decrying the (NZ) Government's - Admittedly, Somewhat Problematic - Coronavirus Mandates; the Other (Of Which Yours Truly Was a Silent Participant/Observer), Folk (from the Ukraine Especially) Grieving Intensely Over their Loved Ones' Awful Predicament in Their Homeland(s) (of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia)

The latter silently grieving in mournful vigilance, whilst the former honked horns and created 'merry hell' as they gleefully honked and whistled and bellowed their approval of the folk holding out in the Octagon, downtown Dunedin... But the loudest voices are not always the most eloquent...

Ultimately Criminalizing the Good Folk - Bearing in Mind A One-Time Pastor Who Apparently Engaged in the Practice of Conversion Therapy Is Now On Notice Of How the Authorities View The Matter - Is What All Evil and Morally Indefensible Governments Ultimately Do...Until They Verily Reach a Point Beyond Which they Cannot Go: the Lord on High Simply Won't Allow Them (to)...and He Calls Down the Curtain Upon the Experiment Known as Planet Earth, and All that is Left is His Judgment 'and Fiery Indignation, Which Shall Devour the Adversaries'...

Yet even now He beseeches one and all to turn and repent, while there is still time -  while it is called today - likewise declaring that He is not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance... and implores us to respond affirmatively when He asks, beseechingly: Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?...and not that he should return from his ways, and live? ...eventually concluding said passage by declaring - unilaterally and unequivocally: For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth... ...and then touchingly implores: wherefore turn yourselves (sic) , and live ye .
