Though Not Even Remotely a Fan of Donald J Trump, Where the Heck Does the Media Get Off, What Sort of Vicarious Kick Does Ye Mainstream Media (especially Foreign Correspondents - Usually an Admirable Bunch - in This Instance) Get in Gratuitously Knocking Both the U S President and his Administration Regarding Their Insistence Upon the World Getting to the Bottom, and ASAP, Vis-a-vis the Origins of the Present Pandemic Engulfing the Planet?

Methinks it's all about their constant ad hominem campaign to impugn him/them and their motives and intentions - whatever their relative merits at times...

And yes, though - as I've often reiterated - I'm far from a fan of the man, their never-ending partisanship is unfortunately, but all too predictably, I fear, starting to push many reasonable-minded people increasingly into his corner...

-no, not for his rather abject handling of the crisis in the U S of A - a study in failure if there were one - but in how by constant engagement in character abuse and assassination they eventually achieve the otherwise impossible...

making the man seem somewhat reasonable and their own petty party political hatchet job upon him look more and more childish and over-the-top...

ultimately helping to see his re-election by a populace heartily 'sick to death' of such journalism which has so obviously jettisoned the very basis and first principles of its very raison d'etre...

"I Will NOT Pose for your camera/s, My/our faith is not for show": So - apparently - once said a poor Appalachian (or thereabouts) pastor at the conclusion of a funeral service out in the wilds of Pennsylvania to America's popular, one-time TV Show Host Phil Donahue...in remarks now forever after 'immortalized' in and by the well-respected radio evangelist Charles ('Chuck') Swindoll...and they are of no less relevance and vital import and bearing today, whether in the U S of A or here in lil ole God's Own/Godzone...

Though 'it ain't necessarily so', as in so many things reported by today's self-anointed purveyors of truth and reality - who despite seemingly never-ending claims to 'the facts' whilst all other comers (and goers) are supposedly peddling fake news , and generous helpings thereof, themselves so often leave much to be desired insofar as really, truly giving viewers, readers and listeners 'the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth' is concerned, the 'real doss' so to speak - it is a tad concerning (and, what's more, 'worrying') when(ever) any  people in the public eye, let alone 'leaders' in the community (and other assorted 'movers and shakers' in society) use  their (supposed) 'faith' and/or religious pedigree as a kind of prop for public consumption...   And thus and so we had the spectacle of President Trump awhile ago, following the spontaneous eruption of protests and riots throughout the States...
