And though in theory hardly a hanging offence, in the circumstances - of arguably the most major peacetime crisis in the land, if not the world - by not 'avoiding the appearance of evil' (as a good and much underutilized Scripture expresses so succinctly) the former Knox College Rector (and now Health Minister) has singlehandedly compromised and brought into disrepute the very measures his Government has so forcefully and eloquently argued are such a necessity for his/their fellow citizens.
